That is the million dollar question …

Money can be made in so many different ways online, but only if you do things the right way, as anyone who is still struggling will know, there are plenty of opportunities – but making money from them is harder than it looks! So, can you make money with Twitter?

Twitter is no different – I am sure that every day, scores of marketers are banned from it for ‘spammy’ practices.

They think that signing up to follow lots of people then spamming them with links is good business…

It’s not!

I teach you in my book how to use stealth techniques to get people to see you as a trusted friend while you pull down sales. Here are a few tips to build your twitter following to help in your twitter marketing:

First, I recommend that you make at least 5 – 10 tweets. The tweets can be about anything …say hi and introduce yourself, an interesting video (people like videos), or just talk about your day. Make these posts over 2 days.
Make sure your profile is completely setup. Leave no stone unturned.
Go to ‘Find people’ at the top and ‘Suggested users’ – there you will find about 20+ users you can follow straight away, and hopefully some of them will automatically follow you back.
Once you’ve followed some of those people then reply to a couple of posts from them, now you have a page with your posts, the replies you made, you are following people and should have some followers yourself – you are now an active part of the community and can go forth and get more followers
Find people that you know. If you have any friends you think may be on Twitter, or clients etc – then use the ‘Find people’ function and you can search by name, username, email address etc to find people and start to follow them.
Interact with the people that you’ve followed with direct tweets to them and retweets of their tweets.
Post friendly tweets like a joke …people like to laugh. This gets your followers in the habit of reading your tweets so now when you post a tweet about your business or product they are likely to click on it and see what it’s about.
