That is the million dollar question …

Money can be made in so many different ways online, but only if you do things the right way, as anyone who is still struggling will know, there are plenty of  opportunities – but making money from them is harder than it looks!  So, can you make money with Twitter?

Twitter is no different – I am sure that every day,  scores of marketers are banned from it for ‘spammy’ practices.

They think that signing up to follow lots of people then spamming them with links is good business…

It’s not!

I teach you in my book how to use stealth techniques to get people to see you as a trusted friend while you pull down sales.  Here are a few tips to build your twitter following to help in your twitter marketing:

1. First, I recommend that you make at least 5 – 10 tweets.  The tweets can be about anything …say hi and introduce yourself, an interesting video (people like videos), or just talk about your day.  Make these posts over 2 days.
2. Make sure your profile is completely setup.  Leave no stone unturned.
3. Go to ‘Find people’ at the top and ‘Suggested users’ – there you will find about 20+ users you can follow straight away, and hopefully some of them will automatically follow you back.
4. Once you’ve followed some of those people then reply to a couple of posts from them, now you have a page with your posts, the replies you made, you are following people and should have some followers yourself – you are now an active part of the community and can go forth and get more followers
5. Find people that you know.  If you have any friends you think may be on Twitter, or clients etc – then use the ‘Find people’ function and you can search by name, username, email address etc to find people and start to follow them.
6. Interact with the people that you’ve followed with direct tweets to them and retweets of their tweets.
7. Post friendly tweets like a joke …people like to laugh.  This gets your followers in the habit of reading your tweets so now when you post a tweet about your business or product they are likely to click on it and see what it’s about.

A lot of Internet Marketing newbies have dreams to make lots of money in their Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing businesses like the well known “gurus” out there – Shawn Casey, Matt Bacak, Frank Kern, John Reese, Yanik Silver and Bryan Kumar to name a few. What stops these newbies to Internet Marketing/Affiliate Marketing dead in their tracks is “know how” and even bigger, the capital to invest to get started. However, it is almost impossible to start an Internet business without spending some money on basic infrastructure such as web hosting, domain names and so on. So, I am providing you some ideas of how to start an Internet Marketing business with no money.

The first and most important thing to do is to take inventory of your talent and skills. What do you bring to the table? I am sure you have some talents and skills you have developed just simply living your life. Whether it be a foreign language, maybe something you picked up from your full-time career, or from a hobby that you love like underwater basket weaving LOL …you get the idea. It is paramount that you take inventory of skills and talents that you have that are in high demand. A good example is you may have a passion for health and wellness and people already come to you for info in your circle. That is a good place to start in your Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing business. You could easily write a guide on fitness or health and wellness tips and market it as a digital product to be sold over and over again in digital format! The cool thing about it is that you didn’t have to go and pay for this knowledge because you already know it.

So, your first option, if you have no capital to start an Internet Marketing business with no money, is to earn some capital using your already existing skillset and knowledge base. You can teach stuff about your hobby to people who are interested, you can write guides or instruction manuals on knowledge or skills you picked up through your life experience that cannot be found in theoretical books.

Okay, worst case scenario …lets say you just cant think of any skills or knowledge that you possess that people might be interested in. Then, it is paramount that you locate a viable business model and focus on that alone. You can obtain almost everything you need through bartering, web hosting, domain name or credit card processing, to name a few in exchange for your product (if you own one) or services like copywriting, ghostwriting and website designs. There is always some mundane job that people don’t want to do, and you can do that for those people in exchange for things you need. All you have to do is ask for it!
